Something HAS to be done!!!

You know how it comes to that point in time when you absolutely DO NOT want to bother with your hair???? I am desperately at this stage right now!!! Number 1, I cam tired of wearing this freaking wig LOL and Number 2, I am tired of having to mess with my hair all of the time! I really think I am about to TRY to get Kinky Twists in my hair. I would like a possible brown mixed with a dark blonde color. I wonder if that would be cute on my head! Here is a photo example:

This is the color...the main color! Except there will be a lighter brownish-blonde mixed within. I hope it will be cute LOL Anyways, there is the money issue! Then there is the "Who will do this for me?" and "How much will this person charge?" Hopefully all will work out!!! I will just continue praying! Prayer ALWAYS works!!! Save Save SAVE!!!

Oh man where to start?!?!?!?!

On account of ME not having a job at the moment, my boyfriend and I are trying to save money!!! Can't wait until that pell grant come in from school! That will at least put a smile on our face since it SHOULD be a small lump sum of money compared to.....maybe $200 every 2 weeks, just guessing. We are saving up for a list of things! Some being things I just recently added to the list lol. College life can be difficult! Especially with no money!! It makes me want to just pull all of my hair out!!!! Literally LOL just kidding. Who said life was easy???

1. Apartment (furniture and all)

2. Cell phone (for me)

3. Car (fix them up)

4. Baby shopping for our future niece Chaniyah!

5. Books for college

6. [The part I just recently added] Cothes, some shoes, and hair stuff for me!

UGH!!!! That seems like a little because you only see 6 numbers but there is like 8 things that tack on to maybe 3 of those numbers! It is hysterical! I can be done though but guess what??? NOT WITHOUT A J-O-B!!!!! :(

I am just going to continue to pray to GOD! He fixes EVERYTHING!!!! :) <3

I recently just found out that I am going to be an aunty to a GIRL! Chaniyah Rae-Ann Forest! I absolutely can not wait to get her in my arms....I definitely need to come up with a nickname for her!!! Both me and Uncle Cody need to! God is SOOOO good! What an awesome God we have!!! I also can ot wait to have a little bundle of joy myself. I couldn't ask for anyone better to be the father to my angels!!! Only God!!! My future is soooo bright! I can not only see it but I can feel it!!! God is with me and mine! I know He is!!! That is why I try my hardest to praise God as best I can!!! I am super excited about the future! Education, Careers, Family, House, and best of all, Church!!! Only God can make this happen!!! #Believe #OnlyGod

Back in Action

Hello Bloggers! Wow I have not been back on since January HAHA! It's been a while! Well a few things! Tevin actually came back after the break...April did not :( Buuuuut, we still get to see her from time to time!!! Thanks to God!!! Another thing is, my second semester of college has begun and I am focusing on classes so that could be a reason why I do not visit or update my blog. I have also been through alot this past year up to now. It is nothing I can not handle of course for God will never put anything on me that I can not bare. #OnlyGod

Obstacles

Hello again Bloggers! Well I have been through some things. No one will ever understand but God! Thats why I am trying my hardest to keep positive and to keep my head on straight! Sometimes I just want to give up but quitting is not an option for me. I know there are people in this world that go through much worse than I do! There is so much going through my mind daily that its almost impossible to think straight! I also feel that I can post anything on here because no one ever really views my blog posts anyway. Geez it is just so much!!! I know I can get through it but I want to get through it and keep my same mind frame not go crazy!!!! Its tough when others dont understand me!!! Kinky Twists

Hello Bloggers!!! My hair is now in kinky twists!!!! My sister did them for me! My boyfriend didnt like the idea at first but of course he know that he will have to get use to new things. :) I like them though!!! I will post a few pics on here later!!! Until next time Bloggers!!! :)

Sooooooooo I am back home for Christmas Break!!!! Happy and excited to see what the days bring...Only God knows!!!! Welllllll.....2 of my really close friends Tevin & April are going off and living their lives together!!! Its sad but it must be done!!!! My coach always said "people are in your life for a reason, season, and a lifetime" I honestly think that they are in our life for a lifetime!!!! I love those guys!!! We will see them again!!!! :) #Friends

All-Nutrient

While buying my wig, I decided to look for some natural hair oil. The employee showed me to All- Nutrient products! The oil is for hair and skin. It is a mixture of all natural oils and is very light...not heavy at all! I got it!!!

This oil smells so delicious! I have only been using it for a couple of days but so far my curls are very refined just by adding a small amount to my hair after shampooing. You can also add this oil to other hair products of yours!

I have decided that I want to try the All-Nutrient Shampoo and Conditioner ! So excited!!! :)

Wig for Wig Challenge

I decided to purchase another wig to protect my hair from the cold, cutting winds of our dear Winter Season! It looks cute and it protects and its manageable!!! 3-in-1....can't say no to that! Hahaha!!!

Wig Challenge

I am a member of the Wig Challenge on the Healthy Hair Zone site. This challenge was created by  Natarsha Reynolds. Instructions on how the challenge works below: 

This challenge is for all the natural ladies that would like to give their hair a break and protect it during these winter months. Rules are simple continue with normal regimen, measure hair at beginning and end of challenge to see how much our hair has grown (optional: post pics). This challenge will go from December 1-February 1, 2011.

My first day of starting is tomorrow Dec. 5, 2011. I can not wait!!!

2 Month Anniversary Post My Big Chop!

My EVERYDAY Hair Routine....

I will wash or co-wash my hair.

Towel dry my hair: Pat dry.

Add herbal oils to my hair.

Massage my scalp thouroughly.

Wrap it.

HMMMMMM....I definitely need to do something a little bit different......I need to start deep conditioning my hair every week or so.....and I gotta get some EVOO bad!!!! Anyone got any ideas? lol all advise welcome!!!! :)

My Hair Type

Type 4 Hair:

• Kinky or very tightly curled with a clearly visible curl pattern.
• Circumfrence: Crochet needle or even smaller.
• The hair is very wiry, very tightly coiled, and very fragile.
• Type 4 hair can range from fine/thin to wiry/coarse with lots and lots of strands densly packed together.
• Type 4 hair has fewer cuticle layers than any other haur type, which means, it has less natural protection from the damage you inflict by combing, brushing, curling, blow-drying, and straightening it.
• Type 4 hair is known to shrink up to 75% of the actual hair length.

I am Hair Type 4a.......

Tightly coiled hair that, when stretched, has an "S" pattern, much like curly hair. It tends to have more moisture than hair type 4b. It has a definite curl pattern.

Tips:

1. Use styling creams, butters, and oils for type 4 hair.
2. This hair type needs extra moisture and tender-loving care because it can be fragile.
3. Detangle hair with alot of conditioner in your hair and use a comb or detangling brush.
4. Let hair air dry or use a hood dryer.
5. Do not use a brush or comb on your dry curls!
6. Reduce tangles by sleeping on a satin pillowcase or wrap hair in a satin cap.
