Hello people!

There are many protective styles that you can go with to keep
your hair healthy an protected!

My number 1 for now is a Lace Front Wig! This help keep my hair protected and helps hold in moisture!

Buns are also great protective styles for the natural hair!!! It protects your ends!

 Cornrolls are a very good protective hair style for the natural because it keeps the ends protected!!!

 These are Bantu Knots! These are also a good protective style for the natural hair!!! This also keeps the ends protected!

Last but not least....Twists are also a great protective hairstyle!

Here are a few things you need to know when thinking up protective hairstyles for the natural hair:


  • Versatile, meaning you can wear it in more ways than one.


  • Easy and non-damaging to put in and take out.


  • The style shouldn't strain your hair in either process.


  • Relatively easy to clean and moisturize.


  • Protects your ends

    WARNiNG!!!

    The products I use may not work for everyone so I "hair-vise" you to try new things! Experiment until you find what works best for you!!! There is nothing wrong with trying new things!!! ;)

    Co-Wash your hair! You just use conditioner only! This will help keep moisture in your hair. 

    1. Wet the hair with lukewarm water.
    2. Apply as much conditioner (of your choice) as needed. [depending on hair length]
    3. Massage your scalp thoroughly (try to use fingertips only...do not use nails...at least not roughly)
    4. Rinse the hair with lukewarm water.
    5. Repeat steps again if needed.

    YOU WiLL SEE THE DiFFERENCE! :)

    Exercise plays a key role in growing healthy hair! The body is made to move...just sitting around is only hurting your body! Exercise is another food to the body! Without it, your body is not able to function properly! So go ahead....do not be afraid to sweat a little! It is good for you as long as you replace it with WATER! Which brings me to point #2:

    When you sweat, your body is losing water. When you eat and your food digest, you eat again when you get hungry correct? Treat water the same way! Put it right back in your body! 6-8 glasses a day! Do this and I promise you that you will see improvement in your hair growth!

    For starters, WATER is the hair's best friend!!!! Ok.....let me rephrase that.....WATER is the "Natural" hair's bestfriend!!! It is the best way of keeping the hair moisturized! Just use a spray bottle and easily quench the root's thirst with some good ole AQUA!!! besides....its FREE!!! :)


    SHEA BUTTER!!!! OMiGOSH I love Unrefined Shea Butter!!! It revitalizes your hair! It improves hair texture, hair moisture, and hair growth! Good stuff! Definitely going to mix me up a little shea butter conditioner :)

    EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL! It leaves your hair more manageable with a healthy sheen to it! I am not consistently using this just yet but trust me I definitely am!!! :)

    Last but not least....LOVE!!!! you MUST love your hair!!! KNOW your hair and be friends with your hair!!! After all, knowing your hair means knowing what to do to take care of it right??? :)
